Wavelength is a dedicated eco-snorkelling vessel visiting 3 different Outer Reef sites for a truly unique day out. We are passionate about the reef and our knowledgeable crew provide personalised attention to our 48 passengers. Wavelength holds an advanced eco-tourism accreditation and climate action certification and believe in finding the best Great Barrier Reef experience possible for all visitors to our beautiful region.

Wavelength's boats have been custom built with the latest, eco-friendly practices! Minimum carbon footprint of construction was achieved by local Australian builds, recyclable materials, and welding with the help of solar electricity! They have the newest, cleanest fuel efficient engines with maximum ride stability and furnished with eco-sourced materials for your extra comfort travelling to and from the reef. Taking a maximum of 48 passengers daily to visit sites across Opal Reef. Passengers will enjoy the benefits of extra Marine Biologists on-board to make your reef experience even more personalised.

Departing from Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina, Port Douglas
Full day outer reef snorkel experience with Wavelength commences with check in by 8.00am, for an 8.15am departure
Scheduled return of approximately 4.30pm.
Transfers from Port Douglas hotels included.
There is free parking at Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina Port Douglas
Transfers from Palm Cove and Northern Beaches are an extra cost
What to bring:
- Bathers and towel
- Hat and sunglasses,
- Change of clothes,
- Jacket or Jumper (in Winter),
- Sea sickness medication or measures,
Snorkelling can be a strenuous activity. To best enjoy it we recommend that you be confident and mobile in the water
No scuba diving available

fantastic way to see the reef
The trip was well organised and very informative. Equipment was excellent but boat ride a little uncomfortable. Staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly as well as passionate about the reef. It was a fantastic way to see the reef.

It takes a little bit longer to get your tickets but we want to make sure everything is going to run smoothly for you.
How long wil it take to get my tickets?
Our team are alerted to new booking requests as they come in. During office hours you can expect to have your tickets within an hour or two.
After office hours your tickets may take up to 12 hours to arrive.
