Travstar.com is an Australian company providing custom made accommodation and tour holiday packages. "Ask a Local" is our motto. We endeavour to provide first hand advice & unique, tailor made holiday packages for our customers. Our office is based in Cairns, Queensland. Our consultants visit and experience all the accommodation and tour options promoted on our web sites so we are able to pass our first hand knowledge on to our customers.

Our Region Guide is designed as an online resource for visitors to Queensland, Australia. As such, we have tried to provide general tourist-type information that will prove useful to intrastate, interstate and international visitors. Although we endeavour to publish the most accurate, up-to-date information possible regarding costs, dates and times, this information is bound to change frequently and updating as quickly as we would like is not always possible. We therefore cannot guarantee the accuracy of this material and suggest that you use it as a guide only.

Travstar.com Pty Ltd ("Travstar") will not be liable for loss, damage, injury or death sustained to person or property arising from or directly or indirectly related to accommodation or any recreational activity arranged through Travstar (each called a "booking"), whether caused by negligence or otherwise. Travstar gives no warranty or assurance as to the security, safety or quality of accommodation or any recreational activity being the subject of a booking and all risk associated with accommodation or a recreational activity is solely yours. Recreational activities booked through Travstar may be dangerous and entail inherent risk to health or personal safety. By your acceptance of a booking arranged through Travstar, you release Travstar from liability and all claims (including claims for negligence) in respect of death or personal injury arising from or incidental to a booking or any accommodation and/or recreational activity which is the subject of a booking. To the extent permitted by law:
a) all warranties implied by section 74, Trade Practices Act 1974 ("TPA") are hereby negatived; and
b) where section 68A, TPA is capable of applying, the liability on the part of Travstar (if any) is limited to supplying the "service" (as defined by TPA) again or the cost of have the identical service re-supplied.
Any contract between you and Travstar is governed by the law of Queensland, Australia and you submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
PROBLEMS WITH BOOKINGS
Please choose your holiday accommodation carefully. Travstar.com does not accept responsibility for your choices. Remember to always keep in mind that budget prices equate budget accommodation.
Properties listed on our websites do not pay for advertising. Travstar.com chooses the properties that fit our criteria based on:

* Convenient location in the price category
* Consistent good feedback
* Capable management and Good service
Our contract and cancellation policies with each property vary subject to the properties policies.
If, in the unfortunate incident, you do arrive at a property and believe that the property does not accurately meet our description on the website and decide that it does not meet your expectations and you would like to move please call us as soon as possible. We need to know about the situation so that we can help you to relocate subject to availability. Depending on the situation your deposit may be transferred to your new booking however, the property cancellation policy will be enforced.
When you have an unfortunate incident and are not able to make your holiday we always endeavour to help you to postpone your bookings however it is always best to take travel insurance to avoid unforseen problems such as missing a flight or health issues that stop you from completing your holiday.
