The 1/2 day white water rafting with Foaming Fury is on the Barron River and includes 2 hours of White Water Rafting.
This trip operates daily on the power station controlled waters of the river. The rapids are an easy Grade 3.
Your river guides are internationally trained and there is no experience necessary. Your guide will give you comprehensive safety instructions and the world's best Rafts are used. The rafts carry up to seven passengers plus the river guide.The day includes transfers from your Cairns or Port Douglas accommodation and 2 hours of rafting on the Barron River. Life vests are supplied.
You will need to bring shoes and clothes that can get wet, swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, hat, camera and a sense of adventure!
A professional photographer accompanies each tour, providing top quality rafting photographs for purchase.
Not included in the day is the National parks fees which is payable on the day to Foaming Fury.
Departures:
Pick up Port Douglas : 1:15pm daily
Return Port Douglas : 6:30pm
Pick up Cairns : 2pm daily
Return Cairns : 5:45pm
Please note the Mulgrave River may be used when the Barron River is not available due to river levels or other reasons.
The minimum age for rafting the Barron River is 12 years.
