Sea Kayak to one of Tropical North Queensland’s most unspoilt and uncrowded coastal environments with Back Country Bliss Adventures.
This reef and island area is home to a vast array of wild life, from very inquisitive Sea Turtles that speedily follow you through the water, to various Stingrays directly underneath and mighty White-breasted Sea-Eagles riding the thermals above. If you are truly lucky then you may even see a Dugong feeding on the sea grass below!
The half-day tours begin either in the morning or afternoon and are generally 4 hours in duration, spending 2 ½ hours paddling and watching the wildlife.
The session also includes full tuition on sea kayaking; safety briefing and a gentle warm up stretch and paddle, finishing off with a scrumptious tropical fruit platter and ice tea. All guides are qualified paddling instructors to ensure your safety and enjoyment.
All you need to do is bring suitable footwear, a hat, sunscreen, camera and a mandatory sense of adventure!
