DAINTREE WALKABOUT
Takes you through ancient rainforests and back to the Dreamtime with the local Kuku Yalanji tribe. Dine at Silky Oaks Lodge, then cruise the Daintree River and spot a crocodile, enjoy tropical fruit tastings and spend time in the historical town of Port Douglas.

Kuku Yalanji Dreamtime Walk
A 1.5hr exclusive rainforest guided walk (600m) along private, easy graded tracks visits special places & culturally significant sites. Learn about
traditional plant use, bush tucker & dreamtime legends. Tea, damper & question time included.
Mossman: Your driver/guide will point out the highlights of Australia’s most northern sugar town.
Lunch: Silky Oaks Lodge is our lunch venue today where we enjoy their specialty Barramundi lunch [alternate options available] in this beautiful oasis amidst the rainforest, overlooking the Mossman River.
Daintree River Cruise: Enjoy a fascinating hour cruising through this wildlife environment, which is home to birds, tree snakes, unique plants and the estuarine crocodile - a great photo opportunity.
Scomazzon Fruit & Cane Farm: Tropical fruit tasting of fruits in season is included as a special treat, or try an exotic tropical fruit ice-cream (own expense).
Port Douglas: Enjoy a short tour of the historical town of Port Douglas. We then continue back to Cairns.
