Synergy II is the only luxuriously appointed sailing catamaran that travels daily to the outer barrier reef from Port Douglas.

Your Day at a Glance...

Start your day in style with a pick up in a luxury air conditioned coach from your Port Douglas accommodation ready for a 9:00am departure.

Once onboard enjoy delicious danish pastries served with freshly brewed morning tea or coffee.

It is a leisurely two hour sail to your outer reef destination which will be either Tongue Reef, Rudder Reef or Chinamen Reef.

You will have over three hours to explore this dynamic reef ecosystem, bursting with a huge variety of exciting marine life including over 1500 species of fish and 460 varieties of coral.

All snorkelling gear is provided as well as wetsuits and floatation devices. Crew will be on hand to offer you a guided snorkel and an explanation of the marine life you will encounter.

Meals onboard Synergy II are like nothing else seen on the Outer Barrier Reef. It is a gourmet affair all freshly prepared and cooked onboard.

Served al fresco on the split level rear deck enjoy fresh fish chargrilled on the barbeque, extraordinary salads and homemade herbed and foccacia breads. Choose from a fine selection of Australia wines and beer available from the bar to complement your meal.

You will then have the rest of the afternoon to enjoy relaxing in the saloon or out on deck. 

A fruit and gourmet cheese platter is served on the sail home, arriving into Port Douglas at approximately 4:30pm.

This trip is unsuitable for children under 4 years, however families with children under 4 years of age can still enjoy a day out on Synergy by chartering the vessel. In this way, Synergy can choose the destination according to the specific needs of those with children.
