We had a great time on this trip. Going on the Train first then the skyrail was the best way to do it. Becasue of the road closures at the time we had more time to spend in Kuranda which was a bonus.

Markets in Kurunda where good on the Saturday because they were all open. There is also heaos of nice places to eat lunch. Sky cable was awesome on the way to Kurunda and the train was a little slow and boring on the way home.

A fantastic day out, with lots of things to do in the village ,the views from both the Skyrail and the train were out of this world would definately recommend it to other people!!!

Overall, we were glad that we agreed the excursions with Travstar.
My ideas and their expertise combined to make a sensible enjoyable programme.
They helpfully offered a switch of excursions to take account of a boat change.
I commend them for making the arrangements well; our time was enjoyable and trouble free.

Would definitely recommend doing the train first and coming down the skyrail. Neither are air conditioned and the tours pack you in tight for the train so have some cold water and dress appropriately. The shops in Kuranda were endless. There is a great tropical icecream stand that is well worth walking to near the end of the main street. The views from the sky rail are great and there is a good coffee shop at the end of the ride.

The organization of the tour was excellent and I had a lovely day in Kuranda going through the markets, but I thought the butterfly walk was too expensive.
