Journey to Kuranda on the Skyrail Cableway. Skyrail is the world's only rainforest cableway, traversing the Barron Gorge National Park, offering superb views of the Coral Sea and World Heritage Rainforest from a 'birds eye view'. Along the way enjoy rainforest walks at Red Peak Station and Barron Falls.

On arrival into Kuranda you will have one and a half hours to stroll the tree-lined streets, punctuated with quaint village architecture, shops, galleries, restaurants and cafes.

A two course lunch is included at Banjo's Restaurant in a casual and relaxed atmosphere

Following lunch you will entry into the best Kuranda attractions.

Birdworld boasts over 70 species of Australian and Exotic birds including the endangered Cassowary, outrageously plumed Macaws and colourful native parrots.

Kuranda Koala Gardens is a superb attraction in the village where visitors can purchase a souvenir photo 'cuddling a koala', see crocodiles, wombats, lizards, wallabies and experience Australia's first walkthrough reptile house.
 
The Australian Butterfly Sanctuary is home to a live exhibit of thousands of spectacular tropical butterflies in their natural habitat. A static display of the most vivid and unusual butterflies from all around the world is exceptional.

The day concludes with a rail journey on the Kuranda Scenic Train. Homeward bound, rest easy enjoying the views of the Barron Gorge and Falls, Stoney Creek Falls and its famous curved bridge and travel through 15 hand hewn tunnels.
