Wonga Beach Horse Rides will take you on a ride through grassy headlands along side beautiful creeks, through pristine Daintree Rainforest and along beautiful Wonga Beach. Walk, trot or canter your horses along the beach or into the surf.

Situated at pristine Wonga Beach near Port Douglas, this award winning beach and rainforest horse riding adventure has an enviable reputation for quality and excellence.

Wonga Beach horse riding tours are suitable for the first timer to the very experienced rider of all ages. You will receive full riding instructions in natural horsemanship.

Quality breeds of horses including Australian stock horses, Quarter horses and appaloosas, are well trained and cared for, which suit all ages and levels of horse riding experience.

On arrival at Wonga Beach Horse Rides you will be provided with boots, helmets and appropriate clothing if required, then you will be selected a horse to suit your horse riding ability.

You will then participate in instructions using the techniques of natural horsemanship, which will be reaffirmed to you throughout the tour.

You will ride along a scenic grassy headland, onto beautiful Wonga beach where you can walk, trot or canter your horse along the beach and into the water (weather permitting), in groups of riders with similar riding experience, then regrouping to finishing the ride as you meander through magnificent Daintree rainforest and a tropical fruit orchard.

This rainforest and beach horse riding tour takes approximately 2 and 3/4 hours on horseback.

Port Douglas Pick-ups commence 1.45pm, return 6.30pm (approx.)
