Tech Dive Port Douglas offers First Class Diver Training on the Great Barrier Reef. Port Douglas is the closest gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, within one hour of spectacular dive sites, a natural wonder abundant with incredible biodiversity.
The Open Water Course is the first step to starting your adventures in diving. This four day course will take you through the theory and skills of diving. The course is "performance based," which means that you progress as you learn and demonstrate knowledge and skill. Day one is theory based, conducted in the comfort of your hotel. Day two is pool training, where you practice your water skills. Day three are your training dives at Agincourt & Ribbon reefs on three different sites. Day four is your final traning dive plus two extra fun dives. This day is also spent at Agincourt & Ribbon reefs.

Multi lingual teaching material is provided from the student manuals, the videos and the Instructor who actually SPEAKS those languages!
