Thala Beach Lodge is an exclusive luxury haven providing a natural and secluded environment located on the northernmost headland of a 2km stretch of untouched coastline.
The surrounding forest types provide habitats for more than 101 species of bird and 34 varieties of butterfly, as well as plants and wildlife. Many of these you will see eye to eye during meals at the Osprey Restaurant. The restaurant looks into the treetops and out over the Coral Sea, with uninterrupted views of the coral islands, reefs and mountain ranges. The 'Masked Plover' Bar is open throughout the day and evening for your pleasure. Overlooking the pool and the majestic expanse of the coast and rainforests.
The stunning main pool features waterfalls, spas and grottos for that late night romantic swim, or just to recline on the edge of the water and gaze out over the ocean.
New 'Evolution at Thala' beauty and wellness spa using all natural aromatic ingredients. Compliment your holiday with relaxation and rejuvenation for the body and soul! Treatments available range from aroma relax massages, detoxifying body cocoon, facials, manicures, waxing and many more.
The Evolution Wellness spa uses Australian Certified Organic skin care products.
In the evening experience the wonders of the sky with Thala's Star Gazing telescope. The centre of our Milky Way galaxy passes almost directly overhead and in more detail, you can see open star clusters with astronomical binoculars. Then with the 10” telescopes, you will have an opportunity to look more closely at our celestial neighbours, red giants, star clusters, nebulae where stars are being born, globular clusters , and distant galaxies.
