DINING:
The Cockatoo Lounge
Located in the main reception area the Cockatoo Lounge is the ideal place to enjoy tropical cocktails, an ice cold beer or a relaxing glass of wine. Perfect for late afternoon refreshments and pre or post dinner drinks.

Tree Bar & Grill
Encircled by ancient rainforest, the Tree Bar and Grill is located in the heart of the resort and overlooks the lagoon pool and waterfall. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the restaurant offers a comprehensive tropical buffet breakfast (6.30am-9.30am), tasty lunches (12.00pm-2.00pm) and delicious snacks all day. Come evening, the rainforest trees are illuminated setting the scene for ambient à la carte dining (6.00pm-9.30pm). In addition to the Tree Bar and Grill there is a casual bar as well as swim up bar from the lagoon pool.

The Wharf
The purpose built conference facility accommodates up to 160 guests. The adjacent deck overlooking the flowing creek provides the perfect breakout area. The deck can host 100 guests to enjoy cocktails undercover. The Wharf is a beautiful venue suitable for 80 guests, the deck extends over a picturesque lily pond making it an ideal venue for weddings and celebrations. The Treehouse is an intimate room set high in the treetops and can be set for up to 20 guests, ideal for small private dinners and corporate board meetings.

Child Policy
* Children 15 (until 31 March 2012) 12 years (from 01 April 2012) and under stay FREE in existing bedding (together in the King bed).  Additional charges apply for Sofa Beds and Rollaways.
* Children are welcome however there is not a kids club at the resort

Tour Tips:
While staying in Port Douglas visiting the Great Barrier Reef is a must! There are many day trips visiting both Low Isles and the Outer Barrier Reef daily. The Daintree and Cape Tribulation regions are also recommended where you can visit our World Heritage Listed Rainforest.

Ramada Resort is located 4kms or about a 15 minute bike ride to Macrossan St.

As part of developing Ramada Resort Port Douglas to the next level some interior works will be carried on and completed by May 2012.  Ramada Resort will be working hard to ensure minimal disruption to all guests.  There will be no works between 23rd Dec and Sunday 1st jan 2012.
