Silky Oaks Lodge is an oasis of elegance and ease amidst the oldest living rainforest on earth.

The Lodge overlooks an idyllic lagoon on the edge of the Mossman Gorge. Only 20 minutes from Port Douglas and one hour from Cairns, The Lodge is on the doorstep of the rare wilderness of the Daintree National Park.

The open Queenslander style architecture and use of local timbers is superb. There is no effort required to discover the magic of the rainforest. It's all around you.

The Jungle Perch is the perfect spot to feel the aura of the vast and pristine Daintree Rainforest. Afternoon tea is served here.

The Kubirri Room offers a 'Planters Club' atmosphere with inviting lounge chairs, board games and a library.

The lodge comprises of 50 private Treehouses and Riverhouses.

Treehouses:
45 Treehouses with extensive landscaping between rooms give privacy and seclusion. Each room has its own vantage of the rainforest and feature 1 King or 2 Single beds . A limited number have 2 King Single beds and a double sofa bed. One room is disable assisted but does not offer full disabled facilities.

Riverhouses:
5 Riverhouses all are superior rooms with views over the Mossman River. On arrival all guests receive a bottle of premium sparkling wine. Feature 1 King bed.

Lodge Features:

A scheduled courtesy transfer service is available to and from Port Douglas twice per day.
