Shantara Resort and Spa Port Douglas is a new luxury 5 star apartment resort featuring a day spa, 2 large lagoon style pool areas and a Gymnasium.

Only a 3 minute walk to famous Four Mile Beach and a 7 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of Macrossan Street, this tropical styled three storey building features timeless classical architecture comprising twenty seven 2 bedroom dual key apartments. Shantara offers peace and tranquility, ideal for couples, please note that children are not catered for.

The rooms and apartments have been designed to provide large living spaces with a superior standard of fittings, finishes and furnishings. All hotel studio rooms and apartments look out across the pools.

Hotel Studio Rooms: 
Spacious and comfortable with either an outdoor balcony looking over the pool or swim up pontoon - direct access to the pool. The holiday kitchenette features a small fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave and crockery.

One Bedroom Apartments: 
Fitted out with a full kitchen and spacious living area with all of the latest appliances. Levels two and three have large balconies with outdoor dining. Ground floor apartments have direct access to the swimming pool from individual pontoons. 

Two Bedroom Apartments:
Two Bedroom Apartments are all dual key combining a Hotel Studio Room with a One Bedroom Apartment.

Shantara Apartments: (4 only) have a large private jacuzzi spa tub in the courtyard surrounded by gardens and off the balcony a pontoon for direct access to the resort pool.

A daily service applies to the nightly rate and a mid week service on the 2+ night rate.
