Beachcomber Restaurant:  The resort's main restaurant, specialises in fresh tropical style cuisine. A buffet breakfast is served from 7.00am to 10.00am and dinner from 6.00pm to 9.00pm and varies from a la carte to buffet.

EJ' s On The Deck: Offering a Modern Australian Brasserie style menu featuring a selection of gourmet sandwiches, salads, pastas, Asian dishes, fish & chips, cakes, ice-creams, milkshakes, smoothies, coffees and fresh juices. Opening hours are between 11.00am and 5.00pm.

Plantation Bar: Overlooking the beachfront pool, it' s the perfect place to soak up the rich, tropical ambience of Dunk. Open for drinks from 11.00am to midnight. Features nightly entertainment.

Take a dinghy to nearby Purtaboi Island, a picturesque island perfect for enjoying a gourmet beach picnic in romantic seclusion.

GETTING THERE:

Dunk Island is located approximately 4 kilometres off Mission Beach on the Tropical North Queensland coast, midway between Townsville and Cairns.

Flights from all major Australian cites are available daily with Qantas.

Transfers to Dunk Island from Cairns, Northern Beaches and Port Douglas are available with Mission Beach Dunk Island Connections. These are by coach and either launch or water taxi depending on the time of travel.

There are 2 departures daily between Cairns and Dunk, and 2 departures between Dunk and Cairns. Connecting flights need to be booked with these times in mind:-

Departing Cairns Airport at 12:15pm and 2:30pm
Departing Dunk Island at 9:45am and 1:15pm

Flights are available from Cairns Airport to Dunk Island with Hinterland Aviation at the cost of $198 return per adult and $100 per child.

They depart Cairns at 12:00pm and 2.10pm, and depart Dunk Island at 9.45am and 1:00pm.

We can also arrange charter flights from Cairns Airport to Dunk Island.
