The Lagoons had the best service I had experianced in a very long time. Reception were very clued on to all activities that Port Douglas had to offer and recomended some fantastic places to eat and do. I was very pleased. I would recomend this place to anyone. We had a studio swim-out and the place felt very relaxed even though you had other people from nabouring rooms swiming next to you. It felt like you were sucluded even though the place was lively at the same time. Very cool!!!

So glad we upgraded to a swim out room. It was everything that I hoped it would be. Staff were friendly & helpful. Not sure how the noise would be around the pool in peak season.

a great place to stay,only its a fair way from Port douglas shuttle was pretty regular if you go into town more than once a day every day make sure you buy a day pass or a three day pass its a lot cheaper

Perfect for families with more than 2 kids. The study really did act as a third bedroom. Clean and comfortable, facilities new and modern. Only 1 BBQ working for the whole property which was not successful but provided some entertainment with people in a queue to use it. Pools were good and only a short walk to the beach. We would definitely stay there again. We loved our visit to Port Douglas the weather was magic and the atmosphere calm and relaxing.

Very attractive premises, although not close to Macrossan Street for restaurants, the continual mini bus service which picked up and dropped off at various resorts was excellent. Treetops next door was great for dinner. Studio room was ideal for short visit - maybe microwave would help if using take-away service. Beds were great - extremely comfy and big. Staff extremely helpful

Very good standard of accommodation and facilities. As stated above, I would have preferred if the hotel had handled the booking as a package and that the cost of the individual tours - was itemised.

Our swimout studio was great. A nice way to start the day and finish the night with a swim. Great value for money and the trip into town was easy. Nowhere to cook a meal which was great we ate out every night!
very friendly service staff as we found with all of Port Douglas except for \\\"one\\\" unhappy person. There loss.

Accom was neat and clean.. the staff were great,,, especially Jacinta, she was FABULOUS!!!! I do think that on your web advert it should advise a little clearer that the accom is as far from the town centre as it is... we were expecting it a little closer to town... other than that we were happy with it

A great place to stay. The accom is away from the CBD but in our view that is a big plus.We have travelled extensively throughout Australia and this place is right up in the top group of apartments we have used.

A few basic utensils (ie cutlery,bowls,plates etc)are really needed for a stay of 6 nights but apart from that the accomodation was excellent. Very quiet and relaxing!! Just a little too far out of town to walk but buses run very regular.

I booked a private plunge pool and courtyard so I could skinny dip and get an all over tan. The one disappointment was that the pool and courtyard were overlooked by other units. Apart from that it was a great stay and holiday.
