We have some great news!!!
Port Douglas Sands Resort has just been visited by "AAA" Tourism, the national body who rates properties. Due to the current renovations new reception and beautiful grounds we have now been upgraded to a 4 Star AAA rating.
The property features a brand new reception area complete with a new tour information and reservations desk for our guests convenience.
The air-conditioned art deco reception offers modern furnishings with art work from local artists along with ample room for information boards and brochures regarding all there is to do in the region.

Port Douglas Sands are proud to unveil their brand new reception area complete with a new tour information and reservations desk. A wonderful area to greet guests on their arrival to Port Douglas.
The air-conditioned art deco reception offers modern furnishings with art work from local artists along with ample room for information boards, brochures regarding all there is to do in the region. The resort was advised previously by AAA Tourism, the national body who rates properties, that it would be eligible to attach a 4 Star AAA rating to the property once the upgrades are complete.

Hi to all, Very exciting news.. Our new Reception is finally going to be ready in one weeks time. We are just waiting for the driveway out the front to be done... It has been a long time coming. With the wet season, tradesman not coming etc etc. However, the wait has been worth it. Our Cafe underneath the Reception has also been renovated, looks fantastic. The mangers Sherie & Rick have been frantically working in the gardens so they too are looking fab. Wait there's more. Quite a few of our apartments have also been renovated. Kindest Regards, Tuza
