DAY ONE: Arrive into Cairns, transfer to Port Douglas, check into Club Tropical
Club Tropical Resort is situated in the heart of Port Douglas village within steps of the Sunday Markets, restaurants, boutiques and cafe's. The parkland across the road leads to the marina while Four Mile Beach is a 10 minute walk along famous Macrossan St. The Studio Room is self-contained with a kitchenette located on your own private balcony overlooking the landscaped water gardens, Port Douglas inlet or Mossman Mountains.  We can arrrange airport transfers from Cairns for an additional cost.  Please ask when booking. 

Day Three: BILLY TEA CAPE TRIBULATION SAFARI

Your naturalist guide will meet you at your accommodation. The first 1/2 of the journey north is very scenic with beautiful ocean views in contrast with the lush farmland around Mossman. After morning tea you will learn about the mangrove rainforests, and hopefully observe local wildlife including the Estuarine Crocodiles on the Daintree River Cruise.

Ascending the Alexandra Range pause for a panoramic view of World Heritage Rainforest merging with the azure colours of the Coral Sea. Experience the rainforest first hand on an elevated National Park boardwalk. Your guide will offer interesting flora and fauna interpretation.

A delicious barbecue lunch with freshly made salads is prepared while you have the chance to hand feed a kangaroo and enjoy a cold drink from the bar.

This tour offers a little more... It takes you beyond Cape Tribulation along the 4WD only 'Bloomfield Track', arriving at pristine Emmagen Creek. You have the opportunity to take a refreshing swim. Look for fish and turtles in the creek, butterflies and exotic birds in the trees and often Goannas on the forest floor. Indulge in a feast of tropical fruit, a complimentary glass of white wine or savour a cup of Traditional Billy Tea, all of which enhance the tranquil surrounds.

At Cape Tribulation Beach there is a little time to swim (seasonal) or stroll along the beach and boardwalk where the Rainforest meets the Reef.

On the way home travel over the Daintree River via the cable ferry crossing.

Please Note: The Port Getaway Package includes accommodation and tours as above.  Airport Transfers from Cairns are not included in this package.  This package does not include any meals besides meals included on your tours. You can start this package any day of the week. 
*Reef Tax Levy is included in overall rate but needs to be paid directly to Silversonic on the day of travel.
