DAY ONE: Kuranda Skyrail & Train
Skyrail Up/Train Down:

Skyrail Rainforest Cableway: Skyrail is the world's only rainforest cableway, traversing the Barron Gorge National Park, offering superb views of the Coral Sea and World Heritage Rainforest from a 'birds eye view'. Alight at Red Peak Station to stroll on an interpretive rainforest boardwalk and at Barron Falls Station enjoy short walks to view points of the Barron Gorge and Falls, together with a visit to the high quality Rainforest Interpretive Centre.
A one-way Skyrail Experience will take approximately 90 minutes to complete and for a return experience you should allow 2½ hours.
You can spend as much time at you like at Skyrail’s rainforest mid-stations enjoying the facilities and rainforest atmosphere.
Plan to spend approximately 20-30 minutes.
Kuranda Scenic Railway: Since June 1891 this famous railway has offered passengers a very special journey between Kuranda and Freshwater Station. Admire the toil of the men and women who built this line over 100 years ago as it passes through 15 hand hewn tunnels and over many bridges, crossing waterfalls and ravines as it traverses the very edge of the Barron River Gorge. Allow 1.5 hours for this journey.

Kuranda Markets: The 'Original' Kuranda Markets are open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday. The Kuranda Heritage Markets are open 7 days a week.

Birdworld: This is the largest collection of free-flying birds in Australia with over 70 species (own expense).

DAY 2 - Hartley's Crocodile Adventure Park
Departures from Port Douglas: 10:15am pickup with a 4pm coach back to hotel
The Park is not only home to hundreds of crocodiles but also Koalas, Kangaroos, Cassowaries, Dingoes, snakes, reptiles and other species native to Australia.
Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures is located 25 kilometres (20 minutes) south of Port Douglas.

11.00am - Crocodile Feeding
See a huge estuarine (saltwater) crocodile hand fed in a presentation which also features Australia's indigenous freshwater crocodile.
11.30am - Crocodile Photos
Impress your friends with a photo of you holding a LIVE crocodile (photo extra charge)
1.30pm - Crocodile Farm Tour
Gain and insight into the operation of our crocodile farm. Learn how farming contributes to the conservation of wild crocodiles in their natural habitat.
2.00pm - Snake Show
Discover the world's most venomous snakes and learn how to administer first aid for snake bite.
2.30pm - Boat Cruise
Cruise the still waters of Hartley's Lagoon and experience the domain of the Saltwater Crocodile in its natural habitat. Great opportunity for bird watchers to spot Kingfishers, Egrets etc. which choose to live around the lagoons.
3.00pm - Crocodile Attack Show
Watch our professional, experienced keepers demonstrate the notorious death roll and head shake. See a huge crocodile hand-fed up close in our specially designed amphitheatre.
What to Bring:
•Sensible walkings shoes, a wide-brimmed hat and sunscreen.
•Cool drinks. When it's hot or very humid you may need to drink up to 3 litres of water per day. Chilled water, soft drinks and snacks are available from Lilies Restaurant
•On rainy days, an umbrella or raincoat.
•Your camera or video recorder. Film, batteries and video tapes are available from the Gift Shop
•Bird watchers may wish to bring their binoculars or hire them from reception for $5.00 per day
DAY THREE: Quicksilver
Quicksilver takes you to Agincourt Reef Pontoon, a magnificent ribbon reef where you can snorkel, dive or stay dry and explore the stunning reef from the comfort of a semi-sub.

Semi Submersible Coral Viewing: If you would like to stay dry, then you can explore the stunning reef from the comfort of a Quicksilver sub. The semi submersibles cruise slowly through the colourful coral gardens giving passengers the opportunity to experience a snorkellers-eye view of the marine life. The semi-sub experience takes approximately 20 minutes and includes an informed commentary on the marine life observed during the journey and an overview of the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef. Semi-subs depart every twenty minutes from the rear of the platform.
Underwater Observatory: You can also see the coral and watch the fish feeding from Quicksilver's unique viewing platform and underwater observatory located directly in front of the platform. From here, you can also view "first time" divers taking part in introductory dives and snorkellers.
Snorkelling: Snorkelling is one of the best ways to view the incredible underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef, and Quicksilver's friendly staff are on hand to show you how. On your way out to Agincourt Reef you can view an instructional video on how to snorkel to teach you the right techniques.
