DAY ONE: QUICKSILVER OUTER BARRIER REEF
Quicksilver takes you to Agincourt Reef, a magnificent ribbon reef where you can snorkel, dive or stay dry and explore the stunning reef from the comfort of a Quicksilver semi-sub. Watch the fish feeding from Quicksilver's unique underwater viewing platform and underwater observatory, or fly in a helicopter over the reef.

Your day at a glance:
9:30am Hotel pickup from your Port Douglas hotel
10.00am Depart Marina Mirage, Port Douglas for the Outer Barrier Reef. A snorkelling demonstration and Introductory dive information are shown on the vessel TV 30 minutes after departure. An informative Marine Biologist slide presentation also takes place on the upper deck
11.30am Arrive Outer Barrier Reef- reef activities commence: Enjoy swimming and snorkelling from submerged platform. Underwater observatory open for coral and fish viewing. Semi-subs depart every fifteen minutes from the rear of the platform. Pre-booked guided snorkelling tours, diving and helicopter scenic flights, fish feeding conducted at snorkelling platform at advertised times
12 noon Enjoy a hot and cold five star tropical buffet lunch, containing fresh prawns, pastas, meats, salads and fruit. There are full bar facilities available where you can purchase drinks. The platform has tables for you to enjoy lunch and undercover seating
1.30pm Lunch finishes. Time for more activity or just relax and take in the view!!
3.00pm Depart Agincourt Reef for Port Douglas. Reef video and photo viewing on board
4.30pm Arrival at Marina Mirage, Port Douglas and transfer back to your Port Douglas hotel

The Platform at Agincourt Reef Site:
Floating like an island in a coral sea the platforms have tables for you to enjoy lunch, undercover seating, fresh water showers and change rooms to allow you to enjoy your day. There is also a water powered lift to allow easy access for all passengers.

Semi Submersible Coral Viewing:
If you would like to stay dry, then you can explore the stunning reef from the comfort of a Quicksilver sub. The semi submersibles cruise slowly through the colourful coral gardens giving passengers the opportunity to experience a snorkellers-eye view of the marine life without getting wet. The semi-sub experience takes approximately 20 minutes and includes an informed commentary on the marine life observed during the journey and an overview of the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef. Semi-subs depart every twenty minutes from the rear of the platform.

Underwater Observatory:
You can also see the coral and watch the fish feeding from Quicksilver's unique viewing platform and underwater observatory located directly in front of the platform. From here, you can also view "first time" divers taking part in introductory dives and snorkellers.

Snorkelling:
Snorkelling is one of the best ways to view the incredible underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef, and Quicksilver's friendly staff are on hand to show you how. On your way out to Agincourt Reef you can view an instructional video on how to snorkel to teach you the right techniques. Upon reaching the outer reef, you can obtain your snorkelling equipment from the storage containers on the platform. Lycra stinger suits are also available to hire.

Fish feeding takes place from the platform so you can view the marine life up close. If you would like to learn a little more about the Great Barrier Reef whilst snorkelling, you may like to try one of the optional Snorkelling Expeditions with a qualified Marine Biologist. This is at an additional cost.

DAY TWO: KURANDA TRAIN & SKYRAIL

ITINERARY:

Kuranda in a Day combines the famous Scenic Rail and Skyrail Cableway into a relaxing scenic day trip. Take your time to wander around Kuranda Village and enjoy the markets.

KURANDA SCENIC RAIL:
Your coach will collect you from your accommodation and transfer you to the delightful Freshwater Railway Station. You will board the famous historic Kuranda Scenic Rail at 9:45am for your experience through some of the oldest rainforest in the world to Kuranda. The train journey will take you through 15 hand carved tunnels, across the giant bridge over Stoney Creek, and will stop at Barron Gorge Observation Deck for photographs.

KURANDA VILLAGE:
Upon arrival in Kuranda, the day is yours to experience the charm and colour of the "Village in the Rainforest", including the Heritage Markets with many stalls and shops. The markets operate 7 days a week, giving you the opportunity to sample and experience much of the local art and handicraft. You will have 2.5 hours free time to purchase your lunch and explore Kuranda.

SKYRAIL RAINFOREST CABLEWAY:
At your scheduled time of 1:45pm, you will board the 'award winning' Skyrail for your return. Gliding only metres above the tree canopy of World Heritage listed rainforest you will become totally immersed in this unique environment. It is the perfect opportunity to experience spectacular views of the mountains and Coral Sea.

Your rainforest experience ends at Caravonica Lakes where your coach is waiting to transfer you back to your accommodation.

DAY THREE: CAPE TRIBULATION & DAINTREE

Daintree Ferry
